Surfing Joe is an arcade game for HUAWEI smartwatches and sport watches. The goal of the game is to score as many points as possible. Joe must jump over pipes and collect bonuses.
The game consists of 2 apps. The main app is the game called Surfing Joe is installed on Huawei watch. The second app called companion app should be installed on phone or tablet. It is optionally app and user can play the game on watch without the companion app. However, is recommended to install companion app in order to send a game score to mobile app to compete with other user in user living country and around the world. Additionally, companion app can switch on extra features in the game.
GAME CONTROL
Swipe up or tap the screen to jump over a pipe.
Swipe left to make a super jump.
Tap the top of screen to pause game.
To avoid accidental exiting the game you can exit the game only on pause or game over states by swipe right.
GAME RULES
Make as many points as you can.
With each speed the game becomes more difficult.
Collect all bonuses to increase your score.
The game is endless.

Differences between basic and premium license
Premium license:
- Unlocks all speeds.
- User can change generic name to own (max. 8 characters).
- User can turn on extra life to add it to the pool of lives in the game.
- Mobile app shows 20 players per global ranking instead 10 for free license.
- No adverts in mobile app.
Basic license:
- Only basic speeds (15).
- Only generic name on the tables of the best scores.
- Shows only 10 players on tables of the best scores.
- No extra life added to counter of lives in the game.

Game differences depending on the watch
Due to the hardware capabilities of individual smartwatches, the game slightly varies in game animation and graphics. These differences result from the device’s operating speed and the amount of memory available for an application. The game runs the fastest and has the most advanced graphics on smartwatches like Watch 3 or 4, and it is less smooth and with fewer graphics on sports watches like Watch Fit 2. These differences should not affect the quality of the playability. Therefore, all players, regardless of the device they have, has a similar chance of achieving a good result in the game and finally be a pipe jumping champion.

How to exit the game?
On some smartwatches like HUAWEI Watch GT 3/4 or Fit 2 the game blocks exits the app by gesture swipe left to avoid accidental exits. You can exit on the title screen, in the game at Pause or Game Over state.
